C19 Message Board : The C19 message board was created in February 2005 to host discussions on Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel North and South and the actor who played John Thornton in the 2004 BBC adaptation (Richard Armitage), other 19th century literature, modern fiction, and many other items of interest. It also includes a reading group and a Georgette Heyer discussion area.
Romantic Novelists Association: Romantic Novelists Association web site. The aim of the RNA is to enhance and promote the various types of romantic and historical fiction, to encourage good writing in all its many varieties, and help readers enjoy it. The annual RNA New Writers’ Scheme is open to any unpublished author of romantic fiction.

Foolishpassion.com: a North & South fan site devoted to the Elizabeth Gaskell novel, and the BBC mini series. Included on this site are reviews with audio clips, video clips, music videos, fan art, screensavers, articles, poetry, and quizzes.
Choc-Lit: Choc-Lit have great reads available in e-book and paperback, and you can enjoy chocolate at the same time!
