Publication day!

Today is publication day for my short story collection, Midsummer Eve at Rookery End.  You can order your e-book or paperback copy from E-scape Press Ltd, and the paperback edition from other on-line retailers 🙂

To win a signed copy of Midsummer Eve at Rookery End AND The Paradise Will, see my Contests and Extras page here.  Oh, and don’t forget that I love to hear from readers!  You can e-mail me on info@elizabethhanbury.com

I’ve blogged on Forromancereaders about researchers at the Mindlab International Consultancy at the University of Sussex, who have discovered that ‘reading can help reduce stress’.

So, why not de-stress by escaping to Midsummer Eve at Rookery End where you can immerse yourself in Regency romance? ;0)

Midsummer Eve at Rookery End publication date

As promised, here’s more news on my collection of three short stories, Midsummer Eve at Rookery End

Publication date will be 31st March 2009 and Midsummer Eve at Rookery End will be available in both e-book and paperback from E-scape Press Ltd.  Their web-site address is www.escapewithabook.com and the site will be going ‘live’ in the next few days.  I’ve had a sneak peak at the web-site and it looks great!

Price for the e-book will be just £2.79 and £4.99 for the paperback.  The e-book can be ordered and downloaded from E-scape in minutes 🙂

The paperback edition is also listed on Amazon UKAmazon.com and The Book Depository, although the price currently shown on Amazon is incorrect and will be updated to £4.99 soon.

Please note, though, that it’s best to order direct from E-scape Press as their delivery will be much quicker.

I’m really excited about the launch of these short stories!  If you enjoyed the excerpt from Siren’s Daughter why not buy Midsummer Eve at Rookery End and find out what happens next? 🙂

Short Story anthology

Rookery End

News on my Regency short story anthology, Midsummer Eve at Rookery End…It will be published soon by E-scape Press in e-book and paperback.

Midsummer Eve at Rookery End

According to folklore, Midsummer Eve is the traditional time for love divination, where gentlemen and ladies can hope for their true love to appear. Lord and Lady Allingham hold a lavish ball every year at their country retreat in Surrey, Rookery End, to celebrate this ancient custom. As the long summer day merges into a balmy Midsummer Eve at Rookery End, six people are about to fall in love…

Authors usually release Christmas anthologies at this time of year, but I thought I’d do something different! ;0) Why not curl up with these short stories and enjoy a romantic Midsummer Eve in the middle of winter?

I now have the publication date for my next Regency romance – Ice Angel will be published by Robert Hale Ltd. in June 2009.

More details to follow on both the above 🙂

Book Launch Event

Thanks to all who came to my book launch party on Saturday 7th June 2008 at the Edwardian Tea Rooms in the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. It was a fantastic afternoon and I think I managed to sign everyone’s copy of The Paradise Will.
